Hot & Cold Therapy Headache Relief Mask

I was waiting to write my review on this until I got a migraine & could test it out in a real world situation but (thankfully) I haven't gotten one since I got this mask. But the mask itself is very nice quality. The whole mask, 360° is made with the gel material, while the eye section has a little more gel & is molded for your eye area (inner photo attached for reference). The mask is pretty heavy, but it makes sense for how thick the gel is. It does have a very good cooling effect even without putting it in the freezer & feels so nice! Even with how thick the gel is, it's still very flexible & the outer material is very soft, it's very comfortable. It fits snug, with light compression feeling, while not being too tight at all. I love the full coverage wrapping all the way around your head, so you're not holding anything in place & you don't have stay lying on your back with little movement; with this slipping over your head you still have full movement, you can roll around, lay on your side, etc. The full coverage is also perfect for blocking out all light, which is a must for me when I do get migraines.While I haven't had a chance to test this out with a migraine yet, I can say without a doubt this will be helpful in alleviating the symptoms for sure. And I can recommend this for all of the benefits above, I think the price is absolutely worth it.

I like to regularly use a warm compress on my eyes to help with dry eyes and I've found that these styles of gel migraine caps are great for that. In contrast to some other migraine caps I've used before, however, I noticed that Comfytemp's cap is much thicker of a gel. This gives it a lot more thermal mass so it's effective at maintaining its temperature, whether hot or cold, for a lot longer. With another brand of migraine cap, I'd have to reheat the cap at least 2 or 3 times in order to last a full 15 minute session. Comfytemp's cap lasts the full 15 minutes and then some.In addition to having thicker gel in general, Comfytemp's cap has an extra hunk of contoured gel on the inside specifically for the forehead area. Other migraine caps I've used before were just a uniform sleeve all around, so I was pleasantly surprised to see this. The extra gel there really helps to make sure you're getting proper contact, and helps keep the mask in place. (In my case, sometimes I like to use that raised bit of gel for my eyes instead.) The cap is easy to slide over the top of my head and has plenty of stretch to fit comfortably.It had a bit of a chemical smell out of the box, but it airs out within an hour or so. I've tried using it both hot and cold and it's been extremely soothing for my head and eyes. For $20, this is a great migraine cap and mask that's good to reuse for years to come.

This cap is a lifesaver. As someone who frequently gets migraines, I don’t know how I’ve survived them without this. The cap cools down very quickly, so you’re able to use it pretty soon after first opening it. The material is incredibly durable while still being comfortable. It feels like a cloud. There’s even a small section on the inside that contours your eyes perfectly to allow them to also feel the effects of the cooling sensation. My personal favorite thing is that it blocks out light 100% which is great for the days that you feel light sensitive. Overall, I think this is an absolute necessity for those that suffer from migraines. The temperature it reaches is just perfect, not too cold, not too warm. This product was definitely created with care and intention. 10000/10 stars!

If you are someone who that's frequent migraines, then you will know just how important it is to quickly apply some kind of treatment as soon as you realize that things are about to get bad. Oftentimes this means either applying ice packs or hot packs and it is great to have a mask like this that can accomplish both, though of course not at the same time. What I was really surprised about with this product is just how heavy it is and it feels like it is made out of a single piece of silicone on the inside surrounded by a very comfortable stretch neoprene cover. My one major complaint is that this cover does not appear to be removable which could make cleaning it very difficult and problematic given that this goes on your face and will readily absorb oils from your face over time. That said, with a little bit of time in your freezer, this mask gets very nice and cold and 30 sections in the microwave turns it pleasantly warm, both of which are miracles when it comes to treating him migraine or stopping one in its tracks. The materials seem excellent overall and it is actually quite a bit large than I thought it would be. So you get great coverage across your entire face. It stays in place and is really quite effective which is a godsend. Overall and excellent value!

Full head stretchy gel cold/hot compress cap. If you suffer from migraines then this cap is for you. Store in freezer or can be used as a hot pack by microwaving for 30 secs. Fabric is very soft and non irritating. This would be great to use after sinus surgery to comfortably use for an ice pack. The gel is very soft and not like the traditional hard ice packs. This one forms to the face gently. Highly recommend. Excellent price for the quality. I like to store my gel pack in the freezer. I recommend placing it in a freezer bag so it doesn’t absorb food smells.

If you like to use cold to relieve a headache, this gel pack is a good option. The fabric is comfortable and smooth, and the gel pack is thick with lots of padding. It even has an extra padded area for the forehead area. The wrap stretches nicely to fit around your head, providing comfortable compression without being too tight or sliding off. I like to keep it in the freezer all the time so it is ready to go when a headache comes on. The color is really pretty, although I suspect the words and design on the front might wear off eventually. Overall I found this product effective for cold relief for headaches.

I originally bought this for migraines however it has easily turned into an every night sleep mask! The cap fits just right and has a cool feel even on days I dont put it in the freezer

Fortunately, I have not had a migraine since receiving this cap, so I have not been able to fully test how well it relieves one. However, based on the fit and feel, I am very impressed with it so far and think it would be effective treating a migraine.The material feels soft and comfortable against the skin. I placed it in my refrigerator to keep it cool and when I got my next headache which seemed to also be light sensitive I grabbed this, sat in my office chair, reclined, and put this on. It provides a soothing weighty compression feel while blocking all the light. Because I had mine cooled in the fridge it felt almost like it was pushing the coolness into my head. It's hard to describe but it's sort of similar to how pressing something cold harder against your head makes it feel more cooling (unless I imagine that but I don't think I am).Overall, this has definitely helped, though, it isn't a cure all. It works for some headaches and others still require medicinal intervention. But it's a very good tool in my experience so far!

This relief cap has been a huge help for my sinus headaches. While I can't personally speak to how well it works for migraines, the cooling compression provides excellent relief for sinus pressure. The gel stays flexible even after being in the freezer, so it comfortably molds to my face and head. It fits well, is comfortable to wear, and has become something I reach for often.
